Neuropsychologists
Rachel N. Song, Ph.D., ABPP-CN
Neuropsychologist/Clinical Director
Dr. Rachel Song is a board-certified neuropsychologist specializing in adult and geriatric neuropsychological assessments. She has extensive clinical experience in assessment and diagnosis of various neurological, psychiatric, and medical disorders/conditions such as dementia, stroke, brain injury, Parkinson’s disease, multiple sclerosis, epilepsy, ADHD, as well as mood and affective disorders.
Dr. Song received her doctoral degree at Yeshiva University in Bronx, NY. She completed a pre-doctoral internship in Neuropsychology at Geisel School of Medicine at Dartmouth and a two-year postdoctoral fellowship in Neuropsychology at Cooper University Medical Center. Dr. Song holds a Bachelor’s degree in Biological Sciences and Psychology from Carnegie Mellon University and a Master’s degree in Human Nutrition from Columbia University.
Dr. Song is bilingual in Korean and English and is competent in cultural awareness and sensitivity.
Jedidiah Gunter, Ph.D., ABN, FACPN
Neuropsychologist
Dr. Jedidiah Gunter is a board-certified neuropsychologist. He completed his PhD in Clinical Psychology from the University of Nevada at Las Vegas in 2011. He earned a Master of Arts in Clinical
Psychology from the University of Nevada at Las Vegas in 2007. He completed a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology with Honors at the University of California at Los Angeles in 2004.
Dr. Gunter has acquired a variety of experiences throughout his neuropsychological career. He has worked at a group home, community mental health center, veteran affairs, department of defense/army, women's prison, and in private practice. While in
private practice settings, he has evaluated children and adults who have struggled with psychological and neuropsychological conditions that can be a result of life circumstances or traumatic, psychological, and/or physical injuries. His private practice experience has also involved working with many children, adolescents, and young
adults who have struggled academically, psychologically, and socially. Dr. Gunter has
also taught class at UNLV and led/participated on several psychology research projects.
The vast experiences he has attained over the years has exposed him to a wide variety
of psychological and neuropsychological conditions within the human mind. Dr. Gunter
is dedicated to helping to improve the mental health of the people of the Hawaii community.
Jordan R. Gardner, Psy.D.
Postdoctoral Fellow
Dr. Jordan Gardner is a recent clinical psychology graduate with broad experience in neuropsychological assessment of adult and geriatric patients. She completed training at multiple neuropsychology clinics within VA hospitals and academic medical centers across practicum and internship; referrals involved cognitive changes, brain injuries, movement disorders, epilepsy, pre-surgical evaluations, ADHD, and/or mood and affective concerns.
Dr. Gardner received her doctoral degree from the University of Indianapolis in Indianapolis, IN. She completed her predoctoral internship at the Missouri Health Sciences Psychology Consortium in Columbia, MO and is now undergoing a two-year postdoctoral fellowship here at Hawaii Neuropsychology. Dr. Gardner holds a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Linfield College in McMinnville, OR and a Master of Science in Psychology from the University of Otago in Dunedin, New Zealand.
Born and raised in Anchorage, AK, Dr. Gardner has moved states and countries, but always finds herself drawn back to the Pacific. She is excited to start a new chapter in Honolulu and become immersed in island living while serving the community. In her free time, she enjoys trying out local food places and exploring Oahu.

Khaley Fernandez
Administrative Assistant
Background: Earned her Bachelors Degree in Healthcare Administration, she is currently pursuing her degree as a Registered Nurse.
Interests: healthcare, mental health, as well as physical health and wellness.
Hobbies: Reading, spending time with her pets, and taking her kids to the beach and on hikes.
Tonya Penebacker
Administrative Assistant
Background: Earned a BA in Political Science from UH Manoa and a JD from William S. Richardson School of Law. Born and raised on Oahu and a mother of 3.
Interests: Mental health and wellness
Hobbies: Gardening, gaming, and going out to eat.
Mollie Valorose
Psychometrist
Background: Earned her BS from Christopher Newport University in 2021. Currently pursuing a doctorate in clinical psychology at Hawaii Pacific University.
Interests: Health psychology
Hobbies: Going to the beach or hiking with friends.
Rachelle Podhorzer
Psychometrist
Background: Obtained a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology at the University of Hawaii at Manoa and currently in a doctor of psychology (Psy.D.) program at the Hawaii School of Professional Psychology.
Interests: Health psychology and overall wellness
Hobbies: Free diving, hiking, and surfing.
Leila-Jayne Casison
Psychometrist
Background: Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in psychology.
Interests: Mental health/wellness, social psychology, & sports psychology
Hobbies: Staying active (running, playing soccer, & hiking) and spending time with friends and family.

Jacqueline Yoshimura
Psy.D. Candidate
Background: Earned a BA from Chaminade University and currently pursuing a doctorate in clinical psychology (Psy.D.) at the Hawaii School of Professional Psychology. Born and raised on Oahu, her dream is to practice locally and provide culturally informed care and education to families across Hawaii.
Interests: Cultural and health psychology,
neurodevelopmental disorders, specific learning disorders, and psycho-oncology
Hobbies: pilates, reading, writing poetry, and gardening
Tiffany Billiter
Psy.D. Candidate
Background: Received her Bachelor’s degree in psychology from the University of California, Davis. She is currently a second-year clinical psychology doctoral student at the Hawai’i School of Professional Psychology at Chaminade University of Honolulu. She speaks both English and Vietnamese, and is proficient in American Sign Language.
Interests: Clinical Neuropsychology with an emphasis in Alzheimer’s/Dementia, strokes, traumatic brain injuries, and brain tumors.
Hobbies: She loves to dance, read at the beach, and hang out with her golden retriever, Oakley.
Adam Grimm
Psy.D. Candidate
Background: A proud graduate of the University of Hawai'i and a current student of the Clinical Psychology doctoral program at Chaminade. He has a diverse background in photography and military service as a bomb squad team leader.
Interests: Mental health support, focusing on prevention through wellness initiatives.
Hobbies: Cooking and paddling.
Nicole Keller
Psy.D. Candidate
Background: Earned her BA at Hawaii Pacific University and am currently working to pursue her doctorates in Clinical Psychology at Hawaii Pacific University. In addition, she is a board certified health and wellness coach.
Interests: Health psychology and evidence based practices such as CBT and ACT. With a curiosity in neuropsychology.
Hobbies: Reading, sunrise and sunset walks/runs, and spending time relaxing at the beach with my golden retriever Momi.
Pamela Garcia
Psy.D. Candidate
Background: Born and raised in Los Angeles, California. Received a Bachelor's degree from the University of California, Santa Cruz. Moved to Oahu to pursue a doctorate in Clinical Psychology at Hawai‘i Pacific University.
Interests: Juvenile justice system, neurobiology of trauma

Background: Born and raised in Honolulu, Hawaii. Earned a BS in Psychology from Oregon State University and MA in Psychology from Pepperdine University. Currently pursuing a Doctorate in Clinical Psychology at Hawaii Pacific University.
